For my 2nd talk at Devoxx Morocco, I have shown how to measure in real time the level of pollution at various points and axes of the city.
This project is realized in three steps:
- A sensor that measures the air pollution and geolocation and send it in real-time via MQTT;
- Messages are channeled through a broker JBoss A-MQ, and processed with a Apache Camel route that consumes the message, transform and send subsequently to ElasticSearch for storage.
- A web interface that allows viewing the data sent by the sensors. The data appear simultaneously on a map (Map), and a time line through Kibana.
